TROUBLESHOOTING > YOUR CAR WON'T SHIFT GEARS
Your vehicle probably has a transmission or clutch problem if:
- Your transmission is not going into or remaining in gear
- Shifting is hard or there is a delay
- Gears are grinding
- The clutch pedal on your manual transmission is not functioning properly
- External controls need to be adjusted
- External controls need to be replaced
- Electrical components require adjustment or replacement
- In automatic transmissions, the transmission computer may need to be replaced
- A major repair may be required if parts within the transmission have been damaged
