When I heard this company works on Motorhome transmissions I thought I would give them try since I knew the motorhome dealer was going to be expensive. Not only did they do the job very timely but were much less expensive and were clean in the process. I am not looking forward to future repairs but I know where I will have them done.

I have a 1992 5.0 Ford Mustang. My overdrive seemed to be slipping. I took the car to Red-D transmissions. They said they would need it for 4 hours to do a complete diagnostic. It was late, so I left it overnight. The next day they called me and gave me the worse news. My transmission was slipping between all gears and my overdrive was gone. The transmission was going to need to be overhauled. It was going to cost over $1900.00. Then, I heard an ad on KFIA about Transmissions Only. I took the Mustang to them for a second opinion. Tom & Stacey were very nice. Tom made a preliminary diagnosis from the information I gave him and he was right. Ten minutes and about $25.00 later, the car was fixed. I wanted to get a car checked out before buying it. I brought it to the shop and Tom took it for a test drive and checked out everything else on the vehicle free of charge. Other shops were giving me the run around. The service is superior at Transmissions Only.

Got my tranny out of truck and took it over to Tom the owner. He had the it torn apart litterealy in 10 mins and showed me what was wrong. Broken band strut, burnt clutches. My tranny was slipping and would not shift into second gear. He also gave me some upgrade options. He rebuilt it for a very fair price. It includes a 2 year 24,00 ATRA nation wide warranty. I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma. I was having problems with the reverse gear it was slipping. At first another popular local shop gave me the worse news. I took my 2001 Ford Focus to Transmissions Only after another popular local shop on Auburn Blvd told me my Focus needed a new rebuilt transmission for $2481.75 plus hard parts. Tom diagnosed and repaired my transmission for $405.00. It needed a speed sensor, temperature sensor, a left axle seal, new ATF fluid and filter change. I highly recommend Transmissions Only to all car owners as they are competent, honest, and provide great customer service for a fair price. I certainly will use them again for any future transmission service in my 4 car family

Like all the rest of the transmission problems on this page my 2004 Chevy Silverado transmission was slipping. I was thankfully led to Transmissions Only by another unnamed buisiness. They originally told me to trade the truck in and hand the problem over to someone else. That suggestion was outside of my intregrity and cost. I went to Tom and he checked it out and had it back to better than new in only an hour! What a great business. I never felt taken advantage of. They are definitly very informative before and after they took care of my truck. I will always take my cars to Transmissions Only for repair and recommend you to all of my friends

Just wanted to say I very Impressed with the customer service at Transmissions Only. Tom is an honest guy and talked to me in detail what was going to get done to my pick up truck.
